will speedometer show less/more distance?
will speedometer show wrong speed of running car?If i change tyre of my car (Small to Big or Vise versa) how will they affect my standard speedometer?
Most speedometers are showing faster than your actual speed (emission inspector, spent a lot of time on the dyno) so using a larger tire will, in most cases, get the speedometer closer to correct. If i change tyre of my car (Small to Big or Vise versa) how will they affect my standard speedometer?
A smaller-than-original tire will show up with a faster indicated speed on the speedometer and vice-versa. Depending on how much of a difference in the height of the tire, the speedo may be off by a few to several MPH at 60.
Yes it will throw your speedo off with different size tires, depending on which way u go , bigger tire, smaller tire. I know the new GM vehicle's can be programmed to your tire size, up to a certain size. But your speedometer will only be off within 5mph most of the time.
