I am changing the tires on my 1996 civic and i am not a car guy so dont laugh but at the front of the car?

i cant get the wheels off i took off the lugnuts but there seems to be something in middle? how do i get it off?I am changing the tires on my 1996 civic and i am not a car guy so dont laugh but at the front of the car?
Seems like the rim if fused to the brake rotor. First put back 1 lugnut but don't tighten it all the way. Get a large hammer and tap the tire lightly. If it's still stuck try hitting the rim at different places. Last thing to try is get a large prybar and intersted any place between the rim and rotor. Make sure your put on 1 lugnut or else the tire could fly off and bounce on to you.I am changing the tires on my 1996 civic and i am not a car guy so dont laugh but at the front of the car?
If all 4 lugs are of the tire should come right off they might be stuck to the rotor so give them a little force to break them loose.
Yeah, just some force
the only thing holding the tires on is the lugnuts once there off it comes off, it might be a lil stuck just kick the top of the tire and it should come right off, the nut in the middle with a pin going threw the top is not holding the tire on, only the lugnuts do
Remove the lug nuts and tire should come off. Sometimes, the rim is rusted to the rotor. Not unusal. Spray some penatrating fluid on the rim and let sit. Then come back and tap with a hammer, careful not to damage the rim. Tire will eventually come off.
