I have took my car to toyota delear for service, like oil change, tire rotation, and balance, after 3 day, when I clean my tire, I found scratch on my wheel, how can I claim them?I have took my car to toyota delear for service, after that I found my wheel has scratch, can I claim them?
I agree stop being so nit picky..it's not a driveability issue anyway. I would mention to the service manager that you noticed a scratch and tell him to make sure they use wheel protectors next time.I have took my car to toyota delear for service, after that I found my wheel has scratch, can I claim them?
Did you inspect the vehicle after the work was completed? Are you sure the shop was the one that made the scratch? From the sound of how you describe the incident I would say no to both. That being the case, you have no recourse.
That sucks.I would be pissed too.maybe with enough screaming and yelling they will replace it.But,screaming and yelling may get you nowhere. What I would do is bring it to there attention.Let them know that after having it serviced you noticed a scratch on one of your wheels. And tell them you understand that during the service that was performed, accidents can happen.Obviously,no one intentionally scratched your wheel. But they probably also know they did it and hoped you wouldn't notice.Any mechanic worth his tool box would man(or woman)up and tell their boss. That way it could be taken care of without all this grief. If you go to them with the right attitude, they might be more willing to help you.
What makes you think you can? Can you prove that the scratch wasn't there when the car went in or that it hasn't happened since it came out?
Nice try, but tough, I suspect . . . .
Is that the rim or the tire? Quit being so nit picky its just a flippin scratch. Its not like it will affect the driveability of the vehicle. People like you are the reason WE ALL pay higher prices for products and services. I could understand if they had warped the rim and it had caused an imbalance that made the vehicle shake at driving speeds, but come on.
They have you in a bind. Only if you notice something while in their yard are they liable. Once you leave their property anyone could have done it.
only if you have proof it wasnt like that before we had the same problem our folding roof got cut while in a service and we ended up having to pay for a new roof.
where is the scratch
You wont be able to after that amount of time has passed.
