Oversize tires and shift points?

how bad will over size tires change my shift points in my truck.

looking to go to 245/75 r17

you don't have to change them, but you will be going about 5 mph faster because your speedo will be off. you should be using a tach's rpm for your shift points anyway.

you should be good. however where i come from those aren't really considered oversize tires. usually when you think oversize tires you would think 35'; tires or bigger.
